Label allows washing machine use
A tub full of water indicates that the fabric can be washed with water in a washing machine.

Label prohibits washing machine use
A crossed-out tub indicates that the garment should not be washed with water in a washing machine.

Label allows hand wash only
A tub with a hand indicates that the garment must be washed only by hand.

Label maximum wash temperature
A number inside the tub indicates the maximum washing temperature in degrees Celsius.

Label allows washing with bleach
An empty triangle indicates that bleach or whiteners can be used.

Label allows dry clean only
A circle indicates that the garment should be dry cleaned at a dry cleaner.

Label low temperature wash
One dot in the tub indicates washing at low temperature (30°C).

Label medium temperature wash
